The Problem

Most NDIS information is built to be filed away, not used.

87%

Of participants don't fully read their service agreement

Walls of legal text. Tiny font. Signed under pressure. This is how things go wrong.

$16.5M

The fine providers face for serious breaches

But you can't enforce rules you don't know exist. Most participants don't know they have this protection.

The free advocacy line almost no one calls

Independent advocates work for YOU – not the NDIS, not the provider. They're free. They're underused.

What's Inside

8 modules. Roughly 4 hours total. Built to be used, not endured.

Each module has plain-language content, two interactive games, a worksheet you can save and come back to, voice input, and a read-aloud button. Made for real humans.

F
From the creator
"I built this because I've sat in too many lounge rooms watching participants and parents try to make sense of paperwork that wasn't written for them. The system isn't broken on purpose – but it does fail people who don't know the rules. This course is the rules, in plain English, with the games and worksheets I wish my own clients had."

Honest Answers

Frequently asked questions

Is this an official NDIS or government course?

No. This is an independent course written by Fallon Barke, an experienced NDIS support worker. It references official 2026 NDIS Commission rules and links to government resources, but it is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NDIA or the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

Can I use my NDIS funding to pay for this?

In some cases, yes – under Capacity Building (Improved Daily Living or Improved Life Choices) if your plan allows participant training. Check with your plan manager or LAC. We can provide a tax invoice on request.

How long do I have to complete it?

Forever. Pay once, access for life. The 8 modules take about 4 hours total but you can pace it however you like – work on one module a week, or binge it in a weekend.

What if I have low literacy or use a screen reader?

The course is WCAG 2.2 AA compliant. Every page has read-aloud, voice input for worksheets, adjustable text size, high contrast and dark modes, and reduced motion options. It was built for real accessibility needs, not as an afterthought.

What's the refund policy?

30-day no-questions-asked refund. Email and you get your money back, even if you've completed the whole thing. We'd rather you be honest than stuck.

Will it stay current as NDIS rules change?

Yes. Major rule updates are pushed to all existing customers at no extra cost. NDIS rules change frequently and an outdated course is a useless course.

I'm a support coordinator – how does the Provider License work?

You get a co-branded version of the course you can share with up to 25 participants on your books, plus a dashboard to see who's completed what. It's an extremely cheap way to give clients consistent, accessible empowerment training without building it yourself. Email fallon@knowyourndis.com.au for a demo.

Stop guessing. Start knowing.
